Surprise! I’m in Abu Dhabi!

After a slow few weeks I was feeling the need for a new adventure. Don’t get me wrong. Phnom Penh has really grown on me, but I think it’s safe to say I wasn’t made to live there permanently. I made the last minute decision to hop on a plane to visit my friends Suze and Dave in Abu Dhabi. I have not seen them in 3 years and wanted to take full advantage of essentially having no responsibilities.

I didn’t even have to leave the airport to see how different things are here and I already love being immersed in a completely new culture. I had to keep myself in check so that I wasn’t staring at some of the beautiful outfits and men casually walking around with their falcon on their arm. So here’s to new adventures with old friends!
